Getting food shortage help

Due to the current coronavirus pandemic, the Food Foundation have found that nearly half (44%) of people are worried about getting the food they need.

Food banks across the country have noticed a significant increase in demand, primarily from those who are self-isolating but also from people who have suffered financial hardship in the last few weeks.

We are helping those who are experiencing food shortages and seeking to help anyone who may be in need at this time. We are partnering with FareShare and Cook to deliver food to people who are self-isolating, NHS staff, and those who have fallen on hard times due to the current crisis. We are also putting special care packages together for workers in care homes local to us and will be delivering them in early June. Can we help you?

Currently, we are operating in the Romford area. Contact us below if you need help during this time, or know some who does.

I want to help

Helping out your neighbours

If you're able to, please consider helping out your neighbours at this time.

You can download some leaflets for to distribute around your neighbourhood if you are over 18 and want to. The purpose will be for you to offer help to vulnerable people who are struggling during lockdown to get the items or help they need.

If you are unable to print off the forms yourself, please contact James and Ruth who will print them for you.
