Values & Beliefs

Commit everything to God in prayer. Offer intentional prayer ministry and encourage the prophetic.

Change plans as directed by God.

Hold fast to the Bible and what it says. Stick to the path God has called us to.

People can come as they are and should immediately feel like they belong. Create and maintain an environment that is accessible for people to encounter God.

Have fun, stay on-culture and don't take ourselves too seriously.

Everyone has a part to play. Take risks on people whoever they are. Value people over image.

Build as we have been commissioned by Jesus: through intentional discipleship and authentic leadership.

Everything we do has to be missional, with the goal of making disciples.

Be generous with our time, money and talent. Plant churches and resource others on their journey. Actively look to equip and send people out.

As an active and contemporary church, regeneration seeks to relate to the needs of the emerging generation of Christians and non-Christians today. The events, services, and projects we share in are designed to communicate the message of Jesus Christ through clear words and loving actions. We work hard at making the Good News of Jesus Christ accessible to today's society.

Being a church held together by a common cause, we seek to live out the meaning of life as we have discovered it in Jesus Christ. We encourage every member to fulfil their purpose as part of the body of Christ.

We do this through loving acts of service, giving, fighting injustice and a determination to act with integrity in everything we do. Individual members of regeneration are encouraged to share in the responsibility of telling others of the love of God, inviting them to live lives to the full in Jesus Christ. Our vision is to be a sending church into the local area and the world.

We are determined to live life as Jesus has given it to us — to the full.

Statement of faith

The one true God who lives eternally in three persons — the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

The love, grace and sovereignty of God in creating, sustaining, ruling, redeeming and judging the world.

The divine inspiration and supreme authority of the Old and New Testament Scriptures, which are the written Word of God — fully trustworthy for faith and conduct.

The dignity of all people, made male and female in God's image to love, be holy and care for creation, yet corrupted by sin, which incurs divine wrath and judgement.

The incarnation of God’s eternal Son, the Lord Jesus Christ — born of the virgin Mary; truly divine and truly human, yet without sin.

The atoning sacrifice of Christ on the cross: dying in our place, paying the price of sin and defeating evil, so reconciling us with God.

The bodily resurrection of Christ, the first fruits of our resurrection; his ascension to the Father, and his reign and mediation as the only Saviour of the world. The justification of sinners solely by the grace of God through faith in Christ.

The ministry of God the Holy Spirit, who leads us to repentance, unites us with Christ through new birth, empowers our discipleship and enables our witness.

The gifts of the Holy Spirit empower believers for Christian witness and service. The Holy Spirit desires to continually fill each believer with power to witness, and imparts His supernatural gifts for the edification of the Church and the work of ministry in the world. All the gifts of the Holy Spirit at work in the church of the first-century are available today and are to be earnestly desired and practiced.

The Church, the body of Christ both local and universal, the priesthood of all believers — given life by the Spirit and endowed with the Spirit's gifts to worship God and proclaim the gospel, promoting justice and love.

The personal and visible return of Jesus Christ to fulfil the purposes of God, who will raise all people to judgement, bring eternal life to the redeemed and eternal condemnation to the lost, and establish a new heaven and new earth.
